In the magical region of Wachau, where the hills are reflected on the Danube like an ancient dream, lies Gasthof Prankl, a gem of family hospitality nestled in the Austrian village of Spitz an der Donau. There, history and gastronomy have gone hand in hand for centuries, within walls that have witnessed generations of hospitality, celebrations, recipes, and memories.

Originalmente conocido como el «Alte Schiffmeisterhaus», comenzó a operar como posada en 1680, sirviendo como lugar de descanso para los trabajadores de las balsas que transportaban madera desde el Waldviertel a través del río Danubio hasta Viena y Hungría. La familia Prankl ha sido propietaria del edificio desde 1844, y actualmente, la octava generación continúa con la tradición de hospitalidad en la región de Wachau. El edificio, probablemente construido en el siglo XIV o XV, fue ampliado en 1844 con un segundo piso adornado con figuras, incluyendo una de Mercurio, el dios romano del comercio y la hospitalidad. It was there that an idea as sweet as it was elegant was born: to create some personalized cakes with the hotel logo, a unique way to honor visitors from all over the world. But to make that wish a reality, more than goodwill was needed: it took a custom silicone mold, tailor-made, with precision, love… and with soul.
And that's where we come in.
From our workshop in Spain, we were thrilled to receive this special commission. We knew it wasn't just another project. It was a piece that would travel to the heart of Europe to be part of a unique culinary experience. A mold that would reflect the identity of a place that has stood the test of time, remaining true to its roots.
The process began with an elegant and simple design: the Prankl family logo, precisely engraved using 3D printing, transformed into a perfect physical model. From that pattern, we manufactured a food silicone mold High quality, flexible, durable, and above all, capable of faithfully reproducing every line, every curve, every symbol of the hotel.



Soon, the first images arrived from Austria: the molds masterfully used by the restaurant's pastry chef, the cakes emerging with that final touch that made them unique. A delight not only for the palate, but also for the eyes. A detail that transforms the everyday into something memorable.

And so, as with good ingredients, artisanal and authenticity united across borders. From our small workshop, we contribute to a story that continues to be written with every breakfast, every event, and every pastry, bearing the hallmark of a hotel that never forgets where it comes from or who it wants to move.
Because there are commissions that are not just molds: they are bridges between stories, between people, between flavors and feelings.
